Teaching

After completing my doctorate in vocal performance in 2021, I started teaching classical voice, lyric diction, and opera workshop at Northern Kentucky University. In 2022, I began teaching musical theatre voice at Northern Kentucky University, Xavier, and Cincinnati Academy of Performing Arts. My teaching experience spans over a decade, teaching voice and acting through private studios, virtually, and throughout the greater Cincinnati area. I have experience teaching all genres and styles of singing and have worked with students as young as 8 to adults! I have extensive knowledge of repertoire and can help you work on foreign language diction or build your audition book. I have helped many of my students prepare for auditions for college programs, competitions, and professional theatre auditions. During lessons, I want to help you find your truest voice and sing with confidence! I believe that a nurturing environment with clear communication allows for freer singing. Not only will we focus on technique and the foundations of healthy singing, but dig deep into character, text analysis, and story. Whether it be expanding your range, prepping for an audition, or just starting your vocal journey… let’s discover your truest voice and sing!
